Family Fun: 2 Story Oasis & Pup Retreat Near RVA

Was very pleased with our stay. Host was extremely responsive and made everything easy including info on restaurants and activities in the area. House was very clean and comfortable. Very pet friendly with fenced front and back yard. 4 stars because of safety feel of the neighborhood but had no issues.

Our host provided many thoughtful details to make our stay comfortable. My family felt welcome the moment we stepped over the threshold. We were greeted with snacks, plentiful towels, as well as games and amusements. Every effort was made to make the space inviting for a families.

Positive: The house was spotless, all the rooms were comfortable and cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the house was generally very safe. We will be back for sure next year

Place was very nice. A little tight in shared spaces and bedrooms, but everything was modern, nice beds, good showers, quality towels and bedding. Coffee bar was fully stocked and left some snacks at arrival. Backyard was nice with horseshoes and air hockey in shed and swingset. Property managers were fantastic... sent long list of activities, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops in the area and were very communicative for check-in, etc. E.g., the ceiling fan remote was missing in one of the rooms and they sent a floor fan for us to use. Only slight downside was that the neighbourhood was a little sketchy (post-industrial area of Richmond, former working class area where the jobs have kinda left, but didn't feel unsafe).
