Charming Retreat w/ Pool Table in Chesterfield!

This property was very nice and had the amenities we needed for our group. The communication was excellent with the host with very prompt responses.

The communication with the host was great but there were some issues that you don't normally have at a VRBO that I wish others would have put in their reviews so I would have least expected them. Our first night there the sheets on the twin beds were not clean. They had an odor and we found a hair. I did contact the host and he said if we had contacted him earlier he would've sent clean sheets. BUT who goes to a house and immediately looks at the sheets? We dropped off luggage and went sight seeing, out to eat, etc so we weren't back until 11:30 pm when we saw the sheets. We tried to wash the sheets BUT there was NO detergent (yes, the host said it's not listed as something they provide but most VRBOs will include at least a couple of pods). So we had to go out and try to buy detergent- mind you by this time a lot of places were already closed. A very kind cashier at a convenient store actually gave us some of his own detergent he had in his car after hearing our story. So we didn't get to sleep the first night until well after 2:30am because we had to wash sheets and we had to be up very early the next day. Also, the dishwasher is not attached to the cabinet, if you open the door the entire thing will just roll out- so be careful. The kitchen is by no means fully stocked for the amount of people it sleeps- we had to buy paper plates, cups utensils. There is no pitcher and I think we found only 1 big bowl. We did leave detergent for the next guest.Besides that it was great

Great place, good neighborhood, close to Richmond and good local spots. Interior was spacious and pool table was huge
