Royal Respite: Green Kings & Grey Queens Hideaway!

Good service

First the positives - communication was fast and accurate, the house itself has comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and plenty of nice towels, lots of coffee! The not so positives - not a great location, bus stop right in front of the house, a bit of a sketchy neighborhood, not a walkable neighborhood at all, no place to really sit and eat a meal (tiny little counter w/ 3 bar stools), very limited cooking items, toaster oven rather than a toaster and it didn't work very well. The house was nice and clean but due to the area the house was in, we most likely wouldn't stay here again.

We were in town for the Nationals Boxing Tournament that was being held at the Convention Center. Since it lasted for 7 days. We needed a place that would feel like home. We found it at the Royal Respite. It was very spacious and close to everything.

The unit was exactly as described and immaculate. Everything we needed was already stocked. The host was very helpful with recommendations. I had an issue with making the reservation but the office manager worked with me over and above routine customer service. Would certainly stay again. I recommend this host and this unit.

We ended up staying here after another property with the same management had a maintenance issue. It was a very nice set-up, it seemed like most of the things inside were new or well maintained. It did seem like the previous cleaning job had maybe been a touch rushed, but nothing that affected the overall quality of our stay. The neighborhood is a little loud, but that was to be expected for the area, and again, nothing that was overly disruptive. I would stay in this location and using this host again.
