The Bamboo House! Dog-Friendly Home n RVA Sleeps 8

House, accommodations, parking, price and communications were absolutely perfect. Spacious, comfortable and well stocked. Fenced yard for dog. Easy location to sights and stores. Beds were comfortable. Showers provided plenty of hot water. The 8 of us had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend and would easily stay again.

We had a great stay at the Bamboo House!! The home was clean and comfortable in a convenient location. We had everything Positive: The home was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with updated appliances and everything we needed. Having coffee, cream and sugar was a nice extra. There was plenty of seating for our group of 6. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and was in a convenient location with stores and restaurants close by. Negative: The second bedroom upstairs does not have HVAC vents. There is an extra air conditioner in the main bedroom but we had to keep both bedroom doors open in order to cool the second bedroom. It was not a problem for us but it could cause privacy issues for others. I feel like this should have been made clear in the listing. Also, the house could use some more quality finishings like trim and paint as well as some nice patio furniture so that people could really enjoy the pretty backyard.

Positive: Pictures are deceiving. The home was not quite what we thought, it was nice though. We would have liked the grass to have been cut prior to our arrival. Also for house it self to be up dated to what the pictures show. Other wise it was good for our money. Negative: The grass was not cut and the deck was not clean. We thought we would be able to enjoy the yard as well as the house. When someone come to cut the grass (day before we left) they threw grass all over our new truck that was in the drive. We understand it needed to be cut but, they could have cut it in a different direction to avoid getting our truck full of grass. Thankfully we didn't see any scratches from rocks or something. You asked us to be considerate of your property we only expect the same in return.

Second stay at this property. Check-in/out was easy. House was clean and well maintained. Host was easy to communicate with when we had a question. They’ve even made some improvements to the property since we last visited in ‘24. Would stay here again!
