The Bamboo House! Dog-Friendly Home n RVA Sleeps 8

We had a great time. I would definitely stay here again. The home was clean, there was plenty of supplies available, the Positive: The house was very clean and in a great location. The host communicated well. Negative: We had to change the filter (behind the bamboo plant) when we arrived because it was so dirty, no air could get through it. There were ants in the downstairs shower, which isn’t a big deal, but I thought you may want to know. I also think the upstairs queen bed is broken. My son slept fine, but an older person might have an issue sleeping on it.

Lovely house! Perfect for our friend group and our dogs. Hosts were so gracious and super responsive. Great location. Highly recommend!

The location was great for our needs as we were visiting family for the holidays- however- the property was in OK shape- with moldy showers, broken kitchen cabinet doors, broken bathroom towel holders, active water leak and damaged and unusable pans. HVAC was inconsistent with bedrooms being cold but kitchen was hot and no vents in the bathrooms.Plus was the property permitted dogs and the Large fenced in backyard was great.Would encourage owner to invest some additional dollars on true repairs vs cosmetic fixes.

Great location in West Richmond near the University of Richmond. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area and a quiet neighborhood. Great for families or small groups.
