Garden Penthouse in RVA! 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath!

I stayed here with my husband and 3 of our friends from college while in town for a friend’s wedding. The location was close to the venue and easy to navigate to. The host had amazing communication and was easy to get a hold of when needed. Only big complaint is that it wasn’t in the NICEST area, but we didn’t feel unsafe ever. Otherwise, could have used a slightly less firm bed and larger towels, but they weren’t bad by any means. Still slept great. Overall great experience for our short weekend stay.

Overall, a very good stay, but some enhancements would have made it better. We had an issue with a carbon monoxide detector on Christmas Day that was resolved quickly and professionally. The property manager is very responsive. The premises are fine, but the location of one of the bathrooms away from the bedrooms was strange. The kitchen is not as equipped as indicated in the listing e,g, limited cutlery, plates. There was no laundry detergent and two dishwasher pods which was expected based upon the listing. While the beds were comfortable, the pillows were not. Just be aware that the steps up to the unit are somewhat steep and narrow which may be challenging for older people (like us). Overall, a good stay, but could have better with some small enhancements.

Property was as described in a nice neighborhood for a weekend visit to the Richmond area.

All went well. I am concerned about the two missing windows located in the main bedroom. This is a serious safety concern. Also the sliding door leading out to back needs to be repaired or replaced. This is also a major safety hazard. In addition the attempted wood barrier out this same door is inadequate as relates to child safety. This three issues can be easily resolved with and with minimal expense. Just recently hung up my shingle after more than 20 years as a Realtor.
