The Great Pink Lady with Huge Wrap Around Porch!

Positive: Nice big bedrooms with high ceilings and real character. Sitting on the porch was great rain or shine. Definitely walkable to some good spots and a five minute drive to a great brewery (The Veil). Negative: Water pressure. Tiny tv room.

Quaint Older House in Great Location Positive: Great location and roomier than I expected. A charming older house with street parking that was convenient and easy. The place was clean and cozy, and the property manager was very communicative and pleasant. Negative: The noise level from the unit above this one was quite unbearable as there seemed to be no sound barrier between the floors, and I could even hear them talking. There was noise coming from upstairs all night. I barely got any sleep. Additionally, there were slats missing from the blinds in the bedroom, so I had to cover them with paper towels for privacy.

Excellent home base for a girls’ weekend! Positive: Plenty of room, thick & thirsty towels, comfortable chairs on front porch, fabulous neighborhood with restaurants within walking distance, short drive to downtown. Negative: N/A

Spacious, relaxing, safe, and perfect location for an amazing price! Positive: Perfect location, spacious bedrooms, historic home, friendly and safe neighborhood, minutes walk to coffeehouse and food, James river park trails right there, and the claw foot bathtub!!!! Negative: Older home so I could hear everything the neighbors upstairs did but I was prepared for that based on the reviews.
