Great stay in Richmond!

Property was great for a weekend stay.

Really nice property in a more rundown part of town. Very well decorated and very clean, which is an huge plus, and it’s spacious. The upstairs master has a lot of space and a drying rack in the wall, which is nice. We did have a couple of little issues, which may only impact some. First, the upstairs is closed off with a door at the bottom of the stairs, but it’s a sliding door that isn’t sealed and sound carries loudly. Secondly, the queen room on the main level doesn’t have a closet. It’s locked for the owner. I suggested making a change about this to James, so perhaps that has been corrected. Also, the bed in that room leaves much to be desired. It looks new and clean, but the sheets feel like a polyester and the mattress is pretty rickety. My teenager wouldn’t have cared, but I wasn’t a huge fan. That said, I’d stay there again in a pinch. The owner is very responsive and it is in close proximity to where we needed to be.

We had a wonderful stay at this property which was large enough to accommodate our family plus our dogs. We were grateful to find it clean and well equipped for cooking in. The snack tray provided on arrival was a welcome treat. Communication with the host was exceptional - timely and helpful! The area is family friendly, walkable with restaurants and terrific pizza nearby. Thanks for a great visit.
